What is a Nebulizer? 0

Nebulisers are usually used by people who have respiratory problems. It is actually a small little device that turns liquid medication into misty air so that the patient can inhale it into their lungs or airways for the medication to work. I am sure you have seen an asthma patient using their inhaler before. The inhaler is a form of a Nebulizer device.

More common types of Nebulizers come in two forms; the mouth piece and the mask. These two types can be different in their look but their main function is to provide the patient with the medication that they need. A mouth piece can be smaller and easier to use but if you are dealing with a small child, then a mask might perform its function better.

Like Blood Pressure Monitors and Body Fat Monitors, nebulizers are widely available for purchases, and you can order it from your local clinic.
